Application

Who can apply?

  • All Guides, Senior Section Members and Guiders in Scotland - you don't need to be in Scottish Guiding.
  • No previous camping experience necessary.
  • Minimum age 10.
  • Full support will be available for girls with additional needs (including indoor accommodation).
  • Camp licence not required for Guiders bringing a group.
  • Limited number of places for Guider’s children aged 9 and under
  • Come with a group from your unit, district, division or County or come on your own and make lots of new friends.

How much does it cost?

  • Guides £200; Rangers & Young Leaders £150; Guiders £100;
  • Guiders’ children £100
  • Deposit of £50 required with application form
  • Balance to be paid by 30th April 2010

How to Book

Download appropriate form, complete in block capitals and send completed form with deposit of £50 and 2 passport photos to:-

If coming as part of a group all application forms should be sent together with a Group Booking form.

General booking information:

  •  Non-returnable deposit £50 required to secure place
  •   Cheques should be made payable to “Girlguiding Scotland”
  •   Please include two passport photos with you application
  •  Balance to be paid by 31 March 2010
  •   Open only to Scottish Guides and Senior Section
  •   Minimum age for Guides is 10 by the date of camp
  •   Older Guides can apply for Senior Section camp provided they will be 14 or over and registered as a senior section member by 17th July 2010
  •   Senior Section members who will be 18 by 17th July 2010 can apply for Senior Section sub camp or as a Guider. Senior Section members aged 19 or over by 17th July 2010 must apply as camp staff
  •   No camping experience necessary
  •   No camp qualifications required to bring a group of Guides or Senior Section
  •   No limit on the size of groups that can apply (large groups may be split and allocated to different sub camps)
  •   Group leaders do not need to complete an A/A or A/J
  •   All acknowledgements, receipts, forms & information will be sent by email to group leader unless paper copies requested
